Fall Kite Festival
Watch professional kite demonstrations, try your hand at kite-making, and marvel at the giant, colorful kites dancing above the beach. Easy parking and a shuttle service will be available from the Lincoln City Community Center and the Lincoln City Outlets.
Summer Kite Festival
Traditionally held on the beach at the D River Wayside, the 2026 Summer Kite Festival will be held at Chinook Winds Casino Resort. This temporary change in location is due to the construction of the new Lincoln City Welcome Center at the D River Wayside. Explore Lincoln City is thrilled to partner with Chinook Winds Casino Resort as we look to continue the long-standing tradition of the Summer Kite Festival in Lincoln City.
