Pack up your beach bags and head down the beach to the South from Anchor Court Beach House towards taft beach. Or drive down to taft area if you have to many toys to sllup down. As you stroll down the beach looking and admiring the beach and all the driftwood, don't forget to look for a "glass globe" as soon as you pass the mouth of the slitze bay entering in the Ocean look for a place to spend your day. The bay provides a calm area for kids to play in the water, and parents to sit and read a book. Don't forget to load up the wagon with chairs, and all the other beach toys you want to take.
Regatta Park is located on NE 14th Street. It's a wonderful space for children and families, highlighted by a large wooden play structure and swimming area.

Just head to the beach in front of Anchor House and you will find some of the best tide pools on the Oregon Coast. The Pacific Ocean recedes, revealing exposed rock, cradling pools of still saltwater. Inside these tide pools, miniature colorful displays of ocean habitat dwell, waiting to be discovered. Starfish the color of sunsets are neighbors to purple and green sea anemones and dark purple sea urchins. A rush of colors envelops the rocky ocean shores, home to tiny darting fish, and Hermit crabs looking for a new home. These are a few of the tide pool creatures you will discover here.

Lincoln City is known for its seven miles of pristine beaches to explore and enjoy, stretching from Roads End to Siletz Bay. While a walk on the beach seems unsurpassed, we’re here to tell you it can be. This not-so-new activity of Fat Tire Biking is catching some attention recently.
Check out this 2.8-mile loop trail near Lincoln City, Oregon. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 1 h 28 min to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring. The best times to visit this trail are June through August. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash.

Drift Creek Falls is an easy hike wandering through Sitka spruce trees to a gorgeous 75-foot waterfall. Overlooking the falls is a 240-foot suspension bridge, a sight in and of itself. This hike is 3 miles round trip with an optional Northern Loop for an additional mile.
*June 2024: Please note that the southern access to Drift Creek Falls is closed. Please use the northern access.
Directions: Leaving Lincoln City from the north on Highway 101 and Highway 18 junction, travel east 4.5 miles on Hwy 18. Turn right and travel south on Bear Creek County Road 3.5 miles. Continue 7 miles on Forest Service Road 17 (NF 17) to trailhead.
Three miles north of Lincoln City, Cascade Head offers out-and-back trails with breathtaking views of the Oregon coastline and the Salmon River Estuary. Oregon's only UNESCO Biosphere Reserve is a protected wildlife sanctuary—removal of foliage, hunting, camping, fires, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed to help preserve this delicate habitat.
